Can anyone tell me about fiberglas lift top trailers, low profile to haul a wing. Good or bad. Thanks for the info.

Some are low profile and wont accomadate a large Tulsa type windshield. I don't care for them because they tend to be expensive and don't adapt well to other uses and cargo. I'd rather stick to a small V-nose 5'x8" which will fit a wing because of the added v-nose length. Thule makes an aluminum one 5x8 that is tight but would work that only weighs 800 lbs. I have their 6.5x10 aluminum(1130lbs) and am very pleased.

I am using a single flip top trailer from Ironhorse to haul my 'Wing. I also have an F4 +2 windshield. When set in the lowest position I have approx. 2-3 inches of clearance inside the trailer when it is closed.

This is a very easy trailer to pull with a mid-size SUV or car with a V6.

Here is their website - http://www.ironhorsetrailers.com/
