My niece and her family live in Calabasas, CA which is in the hills west of Los Angeles. They have not had to evacuate yet, but are prepared to do so. Californians are going through some tough times. More high wind expected today. No rain in forecast. Not a good situation.

The winds that were shown on tv are terrible. It looks like a large cutting torch burning everything in its path. It cannot be easy to walk away from everything you have worked for in your life, but life itself is way more important. We continue to send our prayers out to all these people.
