Does look a bit like a GoldWing (in an early 20th century sort of way). Big engine, big comfy seat. I'll bet it wasn't as quiet as a Wing though.

I've always wondered why more effort was not made on inline fours? (not transverse ones) The old Indians, Pierce, Ace, Henderson, Excelsior bikes at WTT were gorgeous, and it seems the engine only needs the tranny underneath like a GoldWing to make it a perfect shaft-drive bike setup. The water cooling would end rear cylinder overheat problems, too!
