Now thats funny, I don't care who you are. I am on my 4th 500 had this one for 2 years with only a few glitches nothing major, the last 3 I would have liked to do that with.

NEAT! I laughed out loud and pretty much knew what the ending was going to be. Send that video to Garmin and request some compensation in return.

I remember a story a long time ago about a guy who dug a big hole in his back yard and pushed a car into it (I think it was a Chrysler) and burred it. He got lots of news coverage, and the manufacture hated it and offered to buy him a new one if he wouldn't do it.

Sometimes this is the only way to get a manufactures attention. Obviously it is a last resort, but you can bet this will get Lowerance's attention. When customers get so fed up with a product that they display images of it being intentionally destroyed, they take notice. It's a huge PR nightmare for them.
