Just went for a 250 mile ride yesterday. The colors are just starting. If it was me, I'd wait one more week.
Colors were popping great when I was up there last weekend. Especially at the higher elevations (Parkway between 276 and 19).
The colors are gone above 4500', about peaked at 4000', looking great about 3000', early this coming week will be perfect!
Jus' rode 276 to 19 yesterday, rains killed the color early. It all looks like a rusty guard rail now.
This is right at Devils Courthouse........

Wife and I are enjoying our Falls Color Ride ... Headquarter out of Asheville, NC for a couple of more days. Colors aren't as vibrant as I've seen them before in past years but beautiful non the less. Weather is cool but no rain and clear for the most part this entire week.
