The thread below asked the question about replacing a car tire when the temps drop. My question is.......is it necessary, or is the Kuhmo run flat designed to perform in cold temperatures like on a ride up north through YellowStone, Beartooth, and Chief Joseph highways. I have a 2nd rim with a new E-3 mounted. What would you do?

Jeff you will find that the Kuhmo will do just fine in cold weather! Leave the E3 in storage!:thumbup::thumbup:

Below 10 degrees Kumho will slip about as easy as a bike tire will, anything over that it sticks better than most bike tires . Avon will stick better in the cold:thumbup: Everything else it will work better. Kumho is good tire  unless your digging trenches with pegs no worries
