Does anyone know how to align the left drain plug with the piston(i think it screws into the piston)? without removing the fork. I can't seem to find any mention of it in the manual.

Ther is no "damper" on the left side. Only right hand side has it.

after much playing around i was able to align the piston or damper.

Stick a small screwdriver into the hole while looking up through it. Use the screwdriver to gently lift the tube to line up with the hole. You should be able to start the screw then. It may take a few tries. It depends largely on how you hold your mouth!
