I have a 2013 level 3 wing with oem cb radio. I'm using a cardo packtalk bold bluetooth headset and the sena freewire. everything works except I can not transmit on the cb. any help, other than to use sena headsets, will be greatly appreciated.

The unit talking to the Freewire needs to be 4.0 Bluetooth or higher for you to transmit with the CB.

I was just on the phone with Sena this morning because I have an older SMH10 headset but it is only 3.0 so everything BUT transmitting with the CB works.

The Cardo Packtalk Bold is Bluetooth 4.1.

I was also told to make sure the Freewire was updated to the most recent firmware with Sena device manager.

Sorry, that's the end of my knowledge on the Freewire. I am waiting for the new 4.1 Headset to show up. Once installed I will try to transmit thru the CB and I'll go from there.

The only headsets that will have full function with the Sena Freewire are the Sena headsets. Sena has coded their programming for mic return function on the freewwire so that no other brand headset will have the mic return function. All headsets will pair to it, and receive A2DP stereo audio, however you will not be able to transmit on the CB radio. I apologize to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks for the replies. My next course of action was a call to Sierra, but that's been taken care of.
