For a front brake pad replacement, does the pin in bottom of the caliper drive out. If so, does it take a lot of force?

Red,

It's not a bolt. Do the three bolts on the side of caliper, "not the 2 holding the caliper to the fork" come loose to expose the pads?

I don't know what you're doing and you don't either! :oops: LOL...

Remove the little rubber plug at the bottom of the caliper. Behind it is a 5mm hex head. Remove that and the pads will fall out......

I need better light in the shop. I could not see the plug until you pointed it out.

I was trying to drive that pin out of the other side. I did not hurt anything. It only takes a minute when you know how it works.

I had this view in my head of the calipers hanging there by the hoses.
