Because you are not using RaceTech springs, those instructions are out the door.
I went with Sonic 1.2 kg/mm springs and used the stock spacers, plus a pvc spacer the same size as the emulator in the right fork. That gave me about 1.25" of loaded sag.
Since you are using the progressive springs, you'll have a different setup. Basically, you are wanting to shoot for some loaded sag figure. I went with 1.25". I can tell you that 1.25" forced me to drop the forks 10mm because the low-speed handling got a bit wierd, where 1.75" was fine without dropping the forks.
because the emulator is in the left leg, you'll want the right leg spacer to be longer to equal the length of the left spacer and emulator combo.
