I help a buddy today remove his gas tank and gas filter on his truck because of contamintes in the gas he used.
He ask me if my Goldwing has a fuel filter in the fuel line some where.

I said I don't think so, but wondering if there is one.......

And if not, how does Honda get by without adding one?

Cheers

fuel filter

Many auto manufacturers make the fuel filter an intrigal part of the fuel pump assembly. I'm not sure of hteir reasoning but it is not un-heard of.

Fuel filter?

Excellent Q, Mike.
Dunno where the bugger is.
Checked my svc. man. & in the trouble shooting sec. it says that a possible cause of no fuel to the injectors maybe a pinched fuel line or clogged filter.
Couldn't find it in the fuel tank,or in the lines.
No mention of it in the maintaince sec.. Index doesn't show it.
If there is one, FRED H. will know.

If it's like my other late model FI Hondas (and I'll bet it is), it's a fine mesh screen inside the fuel pump enclosure that can be cleaned.
