Anyone ever had an issue with GW not running properly after setting for month or more due to fuel without an additive ?

Not my 2018, and it has sat A LOT this summer. Today was the first ride of any appreciable miles in at least a month.

BTW, when you say "bad fuel", do you mean regular gas with ethanol that has just been sitting in the bike for a month or 2, or do you mean actual bad gas that has been sitting for a month or 2? In my experience, it takes longer than just a couple months for regular gas with ethanol to cause problems.

Depending on the storage environment, amount of fuel that was in the tank, quality of the fuel from the dealer, etc you may have had some water condensation or separation (ethanol fuel).

Add some techron, drain the old fuel if significant quantity, put fresh in and ride.

As Mr .Cobb, mentioned above,
I would try adding either Techron OR Sea Foam into the fuel tank (one ounce per gallon/as written instructions on container) and see if that helps.... Maybe siphon old fuel out of tank if at all possible...
Please keep us posted if this does indeed help!(y)

My 1st question is, how long ago was the fuel purchased ?
If the fuel was purchased at the start of storage then I would doubt it is fuel related BUT if the fuel was purchased months or many months ago then you parked the bike you may have a fuel issue.

Just for info, probably no one cares, but I did my own test of several additives a few years back, filling carb bowls with different fuels with and without additives such as Tectron, marvel mystery oil, sea foam, mineral spirits, stabil, 2 stroke oil, ect. I tried them all, let carbs sit with various additives mixed to recommended percentage. I fully expected none to do a thing, and my expected results were just that. All the carbs just evaporated all the fuel with no ill effects.
Back in the days 45yrs ago the fuel would go stale for sure in carbs if let sit more than 6 months, but now that doesn't seem to be the case.
I had carbs go clogged using Stabil as an additive 45yrs ago after sitting less than 6 months and have called the snake oil term to it every since, and in my own tests it does zero, they all do zero.

Slightly off topic. But if you do need to drain old fuel out, what do you do with the old fuel?
