Our group lost a member Tuesday Morning to a heart attack at the young age of 45. We are a new group (less than 6 months old) and have nearly 40 members already. We had 22 bikes show up on a very cold windy day for the funeral and we led the funeral procession from the funeral home to the cemetary about 20 miles. John's wife and family were very touched by our presence since riding was one of his true loves. It is always tough to lose a good friend, but what a good feeling to have this kind of comraderie and love from such a diverse group of riders.

Our group is the Ozarks chapter of the Downed Bikers Association. http://www.downedbikers.com We do benefit runs for bikers and familys of bikers that have gone down and need help. This started in Oklahoma which has 2 chapters and we are the only other chapter so far but I belive on in Texas is in the works.

Bikers are Wonderful People!!!!!!

My condolences go out to you and your friends family. Very hard to accept a loss like this at such an early age.
I like the idea behind your Chapter. Very noble work.
