I may be barking up the wrong tree here but is there no way to use the GPX data I find on the net with the OEM Navi? If not, how can I open and use the data for evaluating it for trip planning on my home computer (MAC)?
Thanks

Garmin's Mapsource software was able to read and write GPX files. I do not know if their Basecamp software will do the same.

If your bike has the NAV system that you can upload routes in, then "Yes" you can. Just copy and paste the .gpx file on the SD card and input it into your NAV system.

I guess that is partly in question. I have an 06 level 3 with OEM navi system and do not know if that is something I can do. If so how?
