I took my GPS from the pickup and put it on the wing to go for a ride. Turned the GPS on and noticed there was no 12v power. After investigating the situation, I found the guts of the cable missing that plug into the outlet. Retracing my steps and searching did not find the missing parts. Now what?

Does anyone know which wires are for the 12v? I could get a new end and splice it in or order a new cable from Garmin. Any other ideas?

I am lost without the GPS. I rode to Indianapolis for a soccer game and finally used the battery power for the last few miles. Of coursed I had to stop and change batteries as they did not have enough power to go the distance.

assuming you are talking about a cigarette lighter type accessory plug...mine had just two wires,a red and a black. You should be able to get a replaement plug just about anywhere
