Thinking of upgrading to Garmin XT GPS. Have you connected it to stream Bluetooth music simultaneously to two Packtalk Bold units?

TIA

Also curious and following. Just got my XT last week. Won't be riding until May, more snow coming Wednesday.
Music can be "shared" from one PackTalk to another if it isn't possible thru the Garmin.

Thank you for sharing that support article from Garmin, but it does not answer my question.
I currently use the Sena dual Bluetooth transmitter to power streaming to both my pack talk bold units. Works great. I am able to retain all functionality with the Cardo units. But I am in the dark ages with my Zumo 550. It has an audio out Jack that the XT does not.

So my question remains…Have youconnected Zumo XT to stream Bluetooth music to both units while retaining intercom functionality?

No. It does not work.

Sena SM10 specifically supports TWO A2DP connections.

XT does only one. You can look at Sena's function to share music, but that is a workaround.

EDITED to fix... I meant sharing from the one connected headset to another, so that would be Cardo music share in the OP's case. Like @jettawreck says later. Not anything from the SM10.

Have you tried the Cardo "share music" feature? Seems if just music to the passenger was the objective that would be an option. I haven't done/used the feature myself because my wife prefers not to have music on when she rides.

I did a search on the "Zumo" forum (link below) and found this information. It's from 2020 and the forum does have some good information on using the ZUMO XT. Sharing music from the XT with my "pillion" passenger and having her be able to hear the information from the GPS is an essential thing for me.

I do have a bluetooth adapter for my Autocom Pro system but I have not used it in several years. It might work and solve the issue. But...... again one more thing to get around if I purchase one.

Another crazy omission by Garmin if it doesn’t stream music to both Packtalk Bold units simultaneously.

Music sharing only works with Bluetooth not mesh.

When I am riding with the wife, I am paired to the XT and my wife has her music on a USB drive and she is paired to the wing and my headset for the intercom Only. We have different taste in music so this works for us.
