I was on that road a couple of years ago. There is gas along there. Not many towns but there are some gas stations/rest areas and there are a lot of little towns on the southern end of 550. Now cell phone reception is another story....

Thank for the replies, I'm not concerned about the Wing, it's the wife's VTX 1300 and her 3.9 gallon tank. We're thinking about a trip down that way.

Cuba is about 1/2 way between - has several gas stations & places to eat

Last time I was through there was in the mid 70's and only 1 station.

There's a Shell, Conoco & Circle K in the main part of town and couple of more a few miles out from town - the Shell also has a McDonalds.

Yes, I ride this road a lot and you'll have several chances to fuel up, Cuba and there is a new station half way between Cuba and Bloomfield that is very nice....you won't have any trouble at all, except for the crazy drivers.....
