I have a '02 1800 that was just at the dealer for service on the lower hoses. The gas tank had to be removed. Since it was done I have been smelling gas when I stop. I removed the seat and did not see any lines leaking on top of the tank. Any ideas what may be wrong?

Common if you overfill the gas tank.

Only fill it to the bottom of the filler pipe.

Smell will go away after a few proper fillings.

there is a gas tank vent hose on top of the tank, under the top shelter, maybe they forgot to hook it up again when they reinstalled the tank, Fred Harmon has a very good picture showing the vent hose on his website
