How does this work? and where is it plugged into?
I have that on my 2005 and the no wire cutting is not true. I had to tap into a speed sensor above the right cylinder head and run another wire to the ECM and tap into it. I then attached the indicator above the 120 mph digits on the dash with two sided tape. On mine there was a double connector. Disconnect the speed sensor connector then plug this into one side and the other stock side into this. That part was quite simple. But another wire ran up to the ECM and spliced into it. Google Podium Super Bike, Inc. that is where I got mine and they will tell you the model number for your bike and even give you instructions to mount the thing. It is a Healtech Gear Position Indicator. Mine is model number GPXT - GPX - HO1

On my 2007, it was plug and play. It looks like you have a 2006??? If so, should be just like my 07. It plugs into a 4 pin red connector back by relays under the seat. Easy peasy...

The one I installed on my 2008 was also plug & play. Only prob was it had blue lit numbers, which I could barely see in daytime, so I removed and tossed it.
It’s all plug and play one plug I’ll see the seat no tap into any wiring at all if u look at the picture one plug and again sorry for delay work 5am till 6 most days and don’t have phone with me always.

This is plug and play for the 06 and up models with their upgraded ECM. It’s more work on the 01-05 due to the dumb ECM that was used.
