OK...given that the 2018 DCT has less element protection...I just completed several trips equaling over 13,000 miles in rain soft and down pours.....

What I have noticed is more water draining off my helmet down my neck...

Anyone know of a neck "warmer" that is water proof to shed the water from the helmet down your jacket versus down your neck...

Yes...I realize not a 2018 specific question but it is related to the 2018 models since they have less protection.

Thoughts on neck drys or warmers water proof...?

Aloha Lab Rider,

Most good rain jackets have a hood hidden in the collar.
Just unzip and pull hood over your head, then put helmet on.
Problem solved.

Shoei NeoTech II no such issues on my GW Tour DCT.....I use the shield in lowest position and it keeps my sheild clear of rain. Maybe has something to do with the shape style of your helmet?

I use a Shoie J-Cruise helmet and wear a Smartwool neck gator in cold weather. It was worked well during several chilly rainstorms, and one freak snowstorm. I have not had a problem with water dripping down my neck, even without the neck gator. Lots of options on Amazon.

Just a note - the Smartwool 250 is currently unavailable on Amazon and they post they don't know when it will be available.
