It will fit on any 1800. It was purchased for my dads 2006. Its just 4 bolts.

If it is coming off a 2006 it will only fit 2001 - 2010 models. For 2012 - 2017 a different seat is required. I confirmed this with Ultimate on Friday.

100% correct.

A 2001-2010 seat will mount on a 2012-2017, but it will leave a big gap above the battery cover and the corresponding cover on the other side.
