Would appreciate info on using the Bridgestone BT45 rear sport tire on the front of the 1800. What kind of mileage are you getting? Are you mounting it in reverse direction? Thank You.

I have heard that the BT45 is doing much better on a trike, so I was thinking I would try it on a two wheeler. I have heard 25,000 miles???

Check out the Darkside forum in the sub-boards. My experience with the BT 45 was it was a great road tire, but that is about it. It is a dual compound tire that has very soft sides. Mine cupped really bad right away and by 17k it was so loud in turns I tossed it, with 4/32 left on the thread. Others have had good luck with them. I have had better luck with the Metz lazertec bias rear tire on the front. They cup also but not as bad as the BT 45.

If you want a BStone get the 709 which was designed for it. The other was not, neither was a Car Tire which would probably cause a firey death
