I was browsing the site that was posted about old Honda's
Old Honda's
I came across this .. GL2000 ... I have never seen one..
GL2000

I think Honda should consider a GL2400 8 cylinder.... 8)

From inside info that I have the the engine will be larger. The basis for this is that when engineers where measuring for a new "machine" the comment was overheard that it wouldn't fit where the current "machine" was. Who knows for sure why the current "machine" was being replaced but the new one is bigger.

This brings up an interesting question....
Why is there only ONE model Goldwing, Why not 2?
1 1800 model, and a 2000, etc... model.
Just as the same model car can come with different size engines, why not GWs in the same model year.

Alas however the Honda assemly line has not been known for its flexibility in manufacturing.

That's right! One for you Ninja guys (and Gals), and one for
us cruiser guys. I'd gladly sacrifice some handling for a
more comfortable foot & butt positioning bike. One aerodynamic
for the Interstate especially.

I would like to see Honda offer the Wing in 2 models.

1. Sport tour - essentially the present machine.

2. Touring Max. - same engine/frame with tupperware similar to the older 1500. More usable cubic inches of storage.

They did for the 1500s. There was the 1500 Goldwing and the Valkarie.

Then came the 1800s. Goldwing and the Rune.

Easy one... if there was a GL1800 and a GL2400, they wouldn't sell any of the 1800's and would be understocked on the 2400's...

The new 2008 Honda Goldwing, GL3600 12 cylinder ....
Available colors: Pearl Yellow, and maybe Black....
That would be awesome.. 8)
