Or....September... fly to Russellville...then ride to Montrose and then ride home on that baby.
Ooooh! Is that Rockies Gold? I always wanted to go to one. Hmmm...

I was thinking of going this month and heading over to that Texas Ride in but I fell and cracked my ribs on New Years day and then I got really sick middle of February and it just hung on... so a new Wing was the last thing on my mind. But, yeah, that could work out great! Thanks!

Glad your feel'n better Mr. Anzik, cause when you speak, I listen :giggle:..... and if I was ready for a new bike, I'd b all over that gold one..as well!!!
and @ 74+ years old, (lucky to be in excellent health) I only have 78,000(ish) very easy miles on myTRIKE..
I have three very long distance, tours planned this coming season, so at my age, I'm hope'n for the best ride'n season ever...

Rats! I was hoping you and Ken would make it to the Redneck gathering. There will be enough troublemakers there that @Bullet Bob and I will need help. :p :p

The gold color looks so much better in person than any photograph. There is a sparkle cameras can't catch, and the colors are very complimentary to each other. It looks even better with the Wingsoft seat on it!

Seems my old memory has messed with me again. As pointed out below, the seat is actually an Ultimate. Sorry for the confusion, and thanks to Murphy for supplying the correct information!

Guys it's an Ultimate seat built for Charlie Brown ( the Godfather) who built that bike for Southern Honda. Call Chris at Ultimate she built the seat. I spoke to her yesterday about building a wine colored one. Here's a photo of one they did , the Gold seat next to it is the one on the bike in the picture from Goldwings and glizzys.

Go for it. Life is too short to deny yourself of something if you really want it. None of us are getting any younger and you never know what's going to happen. I waited and waited, and then finally decided if I wait any longer I may never get back on a wing. I put the money down and paid what I had to and I don't regret it. I look at like it's less money, the doctors, the government or a nursing home is going to get.
........... off topic...............just to know me better..................nursing home ?? Kill me NOW. That's is NOT "living."

That is one of the reasons I jumped on a 2024 Model. I haven't even paired my phone to the bike yet. I like a "quick map" to come up when I'm riding. I'm very flexible regarding making mid route corrections on a whim and I just need a rolling map.

The other reason to buy a 2024 was the $4K off of MSRP (discussed elsewhere in the forum).
Don't know why I need to keep saying this...................but, evidently I do on this site. I'm NOT being a wise guy here..............

My $0.02...................part of the joy of riding, particularly long rides in places you DON'T know is wandering. No GPS needed at all. Try it.

I know this picture has been used before but it may be new to someone. From a distance it looks like a classic woody design but up close it is a tribute to the Goldwing logo. View attachment 483116
First time seeing this for me. Until NOW, I also thought it was some "woody-esque" thing. Although I love an old woody.................NOT on a Goldwing.

It makes it a bit more palatable for me. But, this scheme is not for me. Potatoe, potahtoe thing.
