Way back when I was in high school in the late 60's all we could afford were old surplus WW2 rigid Harley 45's with the foot operated clutch, we rode them where ever we could get them to go, I recall using old Ford tractor front knobby tires.
These sort of activities probably contributed to my recent back surgery and other arthritis related issues.
