Its hard for a small fabricator to duplicate the engineering and computer resources of a major conglomerate like BRP who owns Can Am. Can AM engineers can pull resources & technology from the rest of the BRP group. BRP makes things like jet aircraft, train, watercraft, ATVs, etc.

I would seriously consider the updated Can Am Spyder if you wanted this design. Its not only fabrication, but the computers as well that make the Can Am fun and safe to drive.

I still like to lean, so any trike is not for me...

has any one seen or heard of this trike? http://reversedtrike.nl/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/R18-brochure.pdf , wondering how it handles, price, and comparison to the spider?
Got a first hand look at it last Wednesday, it is a bit hard to steer when not rolling, adds about 300 lbs wieght to the total bike. Cost is a bid higher than the tradintional trikes since it comes from the Nitherlands. Hard to compare to the Can-Am since the wing rids much better and the seating is better than the Can-Am for me.

I actually rode one last week at the Florida GWRRA rally and I was extremely impressed. The ride was so smooth, it was like riding a high end luxury car. It does steer like a big 4 wheeler ATV, but I found that as long as I was moving, it steered pretty easily. It's a bit pricey though, around $18500 for the complete package and only a scant few places to get the conversion installed. For that price you get a total front end replacement, additional radiator, new rear tire and heavier suspension spring. They said that if you had ABS or Airbag, all would function as before once it was complete.
I want one, but I am having great difficulty wrapping my head around the high cost, almost what I paid for my Wing when it was brand new.
