I always thought the PC was a kewl bike. I haven't seen one in eons. I believe they were sold for many more years in the USA than in Canada :(.

My PC and my friends gl1000 with Vetter fairing look much better than the AI 1200LT. You guys are crazy. Every where we go people talk about how nice they look. And are jaw dropped when told the PC is 33, now 34 years old.
I would have loved to have had one of the PC 800's. I still think there is a lot to be said about the concept of a baby Wing! I had a Vetter fairing on my 1977 Wing. IMHO Craig Vetter was the inspiration behind evolution of the factory tourer.

That Dan would buy one... did you buy one, Dan?

I've seen one in a showroom gathering dust... and one in a mall parking lot over 10 years ago... and never anywhere else.
When it came out, I couldn't find one, so I stuck with my CTX700.

I personally don't mind a bit of wind to the helmet. Means I can control the heat in my helmet. I ride my Wing with the screen usually down a bunch with near full wind on my helmet. But I'm not a tiny neck guy, so it doesn't bother me.

The Vetter 2 that I have on the GL650 silverwing, does a better job of air management than the OEM Honda fairing of 1983. The OEM looks nicer, but the Vetter is quieter And calmer. Mr Vetter did in fact know what he was doing.

Sorry to go completely off-topic, but ...

GLblinded, You have a 1983 GL650 SilverWing? Red or silver?

An '83 GL650I (red) was my 1st motorcycle. I loved that bike - a sport-tourer before that phrase was captioned.

I was playing around and found the DALL-E project on the web - DALL·E 2 ... I threw a picture of my Goldwing into it and this is what it came up with
Did you give the AI program photos of any other bikes to see what it envisioned for the future? If so, anything that might be interesting or entertaining (even in a "sheesh" kind of way) for forum members?

Hi, the one that’s running is silver. It has the engine, final drive, seat, and wheels from the 83 gl650 interstate I was on when the deer hit occurred. I was running 60 mph. It only had 9000 miles on it. My son has an 83 cx650 custom. With 9-10 thousand miles on it. Still don’t care for the computer generated concept bike.
