Another Great place is the "Little River BBQ" in Townsend. You will likely head past it near the intersection of 321 and, I believe 411? towards Pigeon Forge. It is just past the intersection on the left heading east on 321. Lots of light green inner tubes out front. Awesome "Fried Pickles".

Had pickles many places but non compare!

I'll second Rickard Ridge at Cove Lake State Park. great ribs, pulled pork, catfish. Oh, and a little Bluegrass at least one night a week. Take US441 over Norris Dam to Lake City, then turn right on TN116, which will come out on US25W (turn right at the light) about 1/2 mile from the first park entrance (on your left) - take it and turn immediately left up a little rise to the place.
