After the new year I'm starting one of those photo grand tours. They get me out to places I've never been so I try to do a couple. One of the cities I have to "collect" is Isle of Palms near Jacksonville, FL.

When I tried to get this one for the last tour I couldn't find it. I need to get a photo in front of a city sign (the little green ones) or a post office, police or fire station etc. Can anyone tell me where one of these is for Isle of Palms. GPS coords would be even better.

According to Microsoft Streets & Trips, Isle of Palms is a subdivision (not a city) in Jacksonville located about 2 miles west of A1A, on the south side of Hwy 212/90 just east of San Pablo Rd South. My guess is there may be a sign on Hwy 212/90 at Palm Island Rd . . . but it's only a guess. Good luck!

Interesting, my atlas list it as a city. I'll have to check further.
