Looks like I might have a couple, or more, weeks off starting Monday.
Gonna get on the bike and ride baby ride...
So to keep the Rabble entertained we'll try to play a where's he going game. Will leave Monday morning at my standard departure time of about 3-4am.

We'll start with for roads/locations. BTW I will be camping unless it's raining cats and dogs. Will be heading West to start. I have a Passport and a National Parks Passport. My daily range should be about 800 miles going N/S and 1200 going E/W. SPOT will be on. http://spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php?id=35c24e44bdeb3b81f

So the folks that guess the most amount of questions right will win the gift certificate to a max of 2.

Questions are
1. What State/Province will tires be changed. Actually it will be a State, can't afford them in Canuck Land. Tires have about 6K on them now. Hint I am not going South from here.
2. What state/province will first oil be changed at? Starting out clean on oil.
3. First Hotel/motel stay? State/Province is good.
4. First flat. State/Province
5. First Performance award State/Province.
6. How many National Parks (US) will I hit.
7. Total miles week 1
8. Total miles week 2
9. Total miles week 3
10. What Rally will I be in?
11. What is the furthest North I will go? Latitude
12. Furthest West. Longitude
13. Furthest East. Longitude
14. Furthest South. Latitude
15. Most miles in one day? ODO
16. Least miles in one day. ODO
17. Highest cost for gas (per gallon)
18. Number of border crossings.
19. Number of BBQ meals.
20. How many pictures will I take?

Take it for the fun that it is. Needs to be in by 8-28 at noon to make it fair.

If you are taking part Number them 1-20 so it will be easy for me to figure and put in a spread sheet.
Will be posting pics etc on the MERA 1088 Blog.

The best BBQ in Texas is just off I-10 before you get to San Antonio, Luling Market is the most consistent, everything good and always the same. A little farther off I-10 down the same road is Lockhard, three good places there but there is no reason to go unless looking for variety. If you make it as far as Junction, most folks stop at Coopers just off the freeway but if you go south about a mile or so there is Lum's and it is much better.

That's right, don't ask about how the trip was, how he's feeling, any problems during the trip... just get right down to the important thing in life!
Hmmm...the fact Marc gave his pertinent ride stats seems to me that all those assorted items were pale in comparison to where he was able to partake of some quality BBQ.

Three weeks on the road...yeah, that'll be my bucket list ride one day.
