Long story, but buying the bike in the deep south in conjunction with a visit to my daughter seemed like a good idea at the time. It hasn't worked out so well in the long run though.

My local dealer (not the selling dealer) doesn't seem interested after I've called them twice on it. The selling dealer has previously displayed a reluctance to do warranty work (speedo repair)

Looking at this comming summer sometime to get my 2001 done.

If so, at which location?

Thanks

Can't understand a dealer not wanting to do it. A local dealer who I did not purchase the bike from gladly did the rear tire, kill switch, pulse rotor and ECM recall without a hassle. The place I purchased it from sells a lot of bikes, but I wouldn't let them work on a wheelbarrow.

Wile E,

Why don't you PM or Email Mike L, and see where he is getting his work done in MI. There is no real big deal about changing out the ECM.

Seems like the biggest problem is getting the HONDA Dealers to perform warranty work on Honda's.

I wish i lived closer to Hal.
