The other day, I was at the local honda shop and saw another GL 1800 that had a handle for the trunk lid that I thought might come in handy. I just figured it was a Kuryakyn part. But I've been at both HDL and on the Kuryakyn sites and can't find it.

Anybody know of a manufacturer of a trunk handle for the GL 1800.

Thanks

That's the one I have.

I've had the Big Bike one on my '01 since the git go. Works perfectly...nice and sturdy, and keeps the finger prints off of the black paint.

On the other hand, I recently looked at another bike that had the smaller handle that was shown above, and found it to be rather flimsy. It looks nice, but (IMHO) it is no where as solid as that big metal BB handle.

I have a big chrome one that doubles as a luggage rack. :D

This one looks better but the other one is actually more functional.

I have the one listed under the HDL listing. I regret buying it, It is very cheap, and hot terribly convenient to lift the trunk, plus I had to drill 3 holes, so I cannot remove it now.

I still find myself lifting the trunk with the spoiler wing.
