I am a new proud owner of a 2002 Goldwing 1800.
Love it! However, because of my stature the handlebars need adjusting.
I need them alittle higher and closer to me.
Any suggestions as to how to do this?
Thank you in advance.

I have a set of Rocky's risers on mine, and like them very much.
PM me and I can help get you in touch wit him if you like.

I have owned 2 sets - both different -

I purchased these and they worked pretty well...

http://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/gl1800_handlebar_riser_kit/76/177365

read the information carefully as there are 2 types..

Ones that raise the bars and bring them toward the rider AND NARROW the handlebars --

And ones that DO NOT NARROW the bars...

My first try was the NARROWing set...

I ended up NOT LIKING them and replaced them with the WIDE ones keeping the regular width.

I looked at the Rocky Risers and they do the same AND are ADJUSTABLE - however Rocky and I were unable to come to an understanding and he decided not to sell me a pair.

I moved on and am happy with my decision -- and I saved some money -- IF you decide you want to get a pair of the NARROWING ones I will sell you the ones I removed from my '02 - I had them in place for 1 year and about 12,000 miles -

Then you might save some money too :wink2:

I found rocky on another board and bought two sets of his Comfort Risers, for both of my wings.
He was very helpful to me and answered all my tedious questions, and shipped them out as soon as I sent him the paypal.

My shoulders and back are very comfortable now.

Like you I tried the other brands and wasn't very comfortable, before someone told me to seek out rocky on the GL board.

I have the MBL WIDE now and they helped. Cables seemed to be at their limit. 3/4" higher and 1-3/8" back.

Where on DHS website is his risers? How were your cables long enough? Just wondering in case i want to move my handlebars more.
