I bought my 'Wing used, and don't know if it has handlebars risers or not. I'd love to move the bars up and back a little, but don't know if that's already been done. What do I look for; how will I know? :?

TIA for your forthcoming sage advice. :)

Look at the handlebars where they go underneath the instrument panel. If you only see smooth handlebar, you do not have any of the risers that provide significant movement.

If you see a cap or part of a cap, either metal or plastic, that can be removed to reveal the bolt holding the bars on, then you already have risers. If you need to compare different style risers, take this link:

This comparison does not include Kury risers which move the bars closer togeher significantly.

handlebar risers

Thanks. I'll check it out when I get home tonight. Just out of curiosity, if there are no risers, with bolts under some sort of cap. how are the handlebars affixed?

Here is a couple of links to check out, I have had the reg riser and these, I sold my bike that had reg on it and I now have bought these (just waiting on the right GL18 to come along) as I seem to like them better, they are also got 20 bux off their regular price

They're bolted on. Just covered. You'll figure it out if you start taking it apart.
