Recently finished the install of my new GL2Way CB and am happy to report all is well. Good reception and good transmission with no extranious noise. I did remove the trunk to drill the 30mm hole but if I had it to do over would probably use a 90 degree attachment on my drill, loosen and tilt up the trunk to do the hole. I did have a little issue connecting the 13 pin connector but after I angeled the male spades slightly on the bike's connector, it plugged right in. SWR was fine and off I go!

Thanks, Pete, for a well engineered product!

Greetings!

Mine is working flawlessly as well. I had a little trouble with the GMRS radio but it turned out to be a failure in the headphone separator.

I already had a 1" (25mm) hole for the OEM CB so I simply used a smaller grommet. The smaller grommet is much tighter around the cables and hopefully will be more weather resistant.
