What's best to keep the hard plastic around the front pockets and control areas in good shape? What lasts, what are you using, and where is it available??

PLEXUS. Especially, if you have a black bike. I use it on ALL the plastic, chrome, windshield. It's anti-static, so the dust film doesn't accumulate, as quickly, and you don't have to reclean, as often! It feels nice & smooth and is lustrous, after application.
Some bike shops sell it, or buy from HDL.
I repeatedly spray it onto a cotton cloth, to apply, so, I don't waste it, spraying into the air.
