Just wanted to let everyone know that it looks like we will have a good turnout again this year, the entire room block was taken on Friday and Saturday but there are still rooms available.

We will be having a "meet and greet" in the parking lot/grill area behind the motel starting at 6:30 on Friday evening. There will be sandwiches and soft drinks provided. Hopefully, it will give everyone a chance to visit and put names and faces together.

Ride safe and see you in October.

Harrison 2006

For anyone who hasn't seen the original post or has been undecided, here is the information on the '06 gathering in Harrison, Arkansas. Randy and his wife are doing a great job organizing this, and deserve a big thank you.
DATES: Oct 13 and 14th 2006. (or whatever your schedule allows!)

WHERE: Same place we've been since inception - Harrison, AR, which is in the northwest part of the state, about 130 miles northwest of Little Rock on Hwy 65. It is 50 miles south of Branson, MO; 45 miles east of Eureka Springs, AR; and 45 miles west of Mountain Home, AR. This area is home to some of the finest motorcycling roads in the U.S.

LODGING FACILITY: The Holiday Inn Express; 117 Hwy 43 East; Harrison, AR 72601; (870)741-3636. Also, there are other motels in the area if there is an overflow situation.

Was at Mt. Nebo last weekend in a rented cabin with my wife. If at all possible, you should drive up to the top for the views and challenging road. A sign on the top says 18% grade.

Did find out Yell County is dry, I don't know if any others are.

Beautiful area...enjoy.
