A group met in Harrison for breakfast and then a great day of riding. A couple of us were up at 5:30 to hit 125 south from Springfield into Arkansas. Nothing like riding in the dark and in the fog! We dodged squirrls, armadillos, deer, skunks and assorted other critters. ( later on someone almost was picked off the road by a hawk)
At Protem and Bull Shoals lake you must cross the ferry. We arrived at 7:30 and were the only two on board....except the trash truck. Oh well, no harm no foul as they say.
It was great to see some old friends and make some new ones too. Many of these riders will return in a few weeks for the Harrison Gathering. If you have not made plans for October 13, 14, -or more- then you are missing out on great riding and making new friends.
Probably saw your group yesterday, we took 7 to Jasper, ate at the Ozark Cafe then came back via 16 and 23. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Nice pic of the ferry.
