For Sale: Hartco seat for those 6'0'' plus and 200lbs plus. Velour inlay. Very nice condition. Think it was made in 2008. Has the passenger backrest cover and adjustable driver backrest with pouch. Also Eagle inlay on passenger backrest cover as shown. No rips or tears. I bought it used from another member hoping I could make it work for me but I am just not tall enough to reach the ground comfortably with it. I can stretch to 5'11'' if stand really tall and weigh in wet at 175lbs. I really like this seat on the wing and in the riding position it is outstanding but I just am not comfortable when coming to a stop. Has to go to someone who can use it. I'll Ship it lower 48 for $400. I will accept Paypal or cashiers check. Thank you.

It is more of a charcoal color with a hint of blue...that's the best way to describe it. The rest of the seat is black. It really looks good and the velour is extremely comfortable.

Thank for looking!

free bump for a great seat. That's what I have in the red. It sits me back an inch or two and I love it! Good luck and great price.

Psalmist,

Thank you for the Bump! This seat really is very nice. It gets excellent reviews all over this board. I wish it had fit me better. It is very comfortable and I was completely happy with it in the riding (feet off the ground) position. It was coming to a stop that I was not happy. I could only get the balls of my feet on the ground without sliding forward on the seat. I will be saving pennies to purchase this same seat built for me by Hartco.

Thanks

A buddy of mine and I have the Hartco Pro Tour saddles and love them. My friend had a simular problem as you are having. He sent it to Hartco and they made a few modifications and now his is perfect. We finished a 17 day 5300 mile trip to 10 Western States this past August. Fannies were thanking us.
This could be an option for you. Just passing it along as you seem to be otherwise happy with the Hartco.

After I got the seat I called Hartco to see if they would be willing to modify it for me and was told that the seat pan can not be modified to accommodate a shorter person. If I had just needed to be closer or farther back from the grips or higher in the saddle they could help. They seem to be great people to work with and I intend to purchase a seat from them built especially for me. I honestly believe the rider that acquires this seat will be very happy if they they meet the size limits that it was built for. The Hartco products get GREAT reviews everywhere.
