Welcome to the forum

Firstly, we need to know what bike it is and the brand (if known) of light. Honda ones have a fuse at the fuse panel, others have inline fuses. All types are wired via a switch on the LH panel.

Honda type is 35 watt lamps, others are 55 watt lamps

It depends on who and how they were installed

I had the same problem, big bike parts....55w, I blew an inline fuse, it took the two pronged type, I think it was a 25 . Trace the wires up, mine was on the left side. ( clutch side ).

Good luck.

Make sure the headlights are on low beam. The fog lights are switched off by a relay when the brights are on.....You may already know that....Ken

You said one was working before you changed it - have a look at the old bulb and see what the wattage is - you may have replaced them with the wrong value
