I going to meet a friend in Santa Fe for a few days. Leaving DFW on the 21st for Amarillo. Then on to Santa Fe on the 22nd. Hope the weather is decent. This will be my first long ride of the season.

Great town & area. Just be careful when parking @ THE PLAZA.
On 1 end there are spaces I thought was legal parking for motorcycles.
It wasn't & i picked up a parking ticket.
Wasn't really a bad deal tho. Safe, secure, all day parking for $15.00.:yes1:
happy trails,

Have a good time. I'd be surprised if you really didn't enjoy Santa Fe.
Lots of things to see. I see you're from Texas so you may know this
already, but the spring can be VERY windy in New Mexico as it also is
in eastern Colorado.

Santa Fe Trip

Cruiseman:
It has been an unusually windy spring here with gusts over 80 mph on a few days, generally more wind than I have seen in my 45 yrs of riding. Wind normally gets up about 9am and goes to bed about 8pm but a local front or passing thunderstorm will have obvious effects. I avoid I-40 on the real windy days just to stay clear of trucks. As you probably know the overpasses can produce surprising wind shifts. The National Weather Service provides as good a forecast as can be expected. Best wishes on your trip.
