headlight bulb

Quick answer is a H-7 bulb.
One of the best lighting upgrades is to change your stock headlight bulbs (all four) to the Sylvania SILVER STAR bulbs
Lamp brightness goes up just over 25% from stock which is at 3100 k's to SILVERSTAR at 4,000k's
These bulbs can be purchased at any auto parts store, even Wally has them.

Both my Sylvania Silvers(lowbeams)went bad this past week, they were new in April. Seems to me they should last longer than that. Highs stock are ok. (4/04,61,000 miles.)

Bulbs

Found that the bright type bulbs don't last long. H7 bulbs seem to have a shorter life generaly than H4 or H1 I've paid $1.25 to $16 for H7 niether seemed to last any better. The €1 H7 will do for me!
