Don't beat me up, I've already done that to myself !!

Lo beam headlight burned out. I thought I'd replace it myself.
Thought the spring clip over the rear of bulb came off. After pulling it off I found it just hinged out of way. While trying to replace it, the "dam'n thing" just dissappeared. I suspect it went down into the internal's of the reflector assy. No matter how much I looked and (dissassembled) the plastic, I just can't find it.

Now the fun part.
Dealer tells me that the little spring clip can't be had. (except from a junk yard) Have to buy the whole light assy. Of course the front lower faring has to be taken off to replace that. Can you imagine the labor cost of that?

So here I am with a small clip missing from an item that needs to be replaced as often as a light bulb, and find that Honda will not even supply the part.

It's things like that that really frost my ???

Dose anyone know of a supplier that has the clips that hold the light assembly in place?

Head light spring clip

A friend of mine lost one of his, and wouldn't pay the replacement cost of the head light assy. He was able to make one from a paper clip. It's still there. You might try the same.
