After my last bike having proprietry fault code reading software which only dealers could buy, I checked out what was available for the wing.

I brought this Healtech obd tool which even thou I dont have any fault codes maybe handy in the future.

The diagnostic port is under the seat which I believe is on 2006 models up.

This is a screen shot from my 2007 GL1800 with the bike not running, I havent checked out the ins and outs of what it can do but for a relatively small price I think its a good tool to have.

Looks like a great tool, at a really reasonable price compared to an OEM Honda unit which is a couple of grand.

I've got one coming to me from HealTech in a week or so.

I have two of their products on my bike (SpeedoHealer and GLPro Gear Position indicator) and am having some display issues with the gear position indicator.

In the process of working with their tech support people, they gave me a deal on the OBD tool so that I can properly test and diagnose the problem with their gear indicator.

Should be a great troubleshooting tool for the shop.
