In the drivers spot on a heated seat, the back that goes up against lower back/tailbone. Is that heated? I'm looking to remove that area to
be able to move back in the seat. Which should give about 2 inches.

No.

Pull the seat and you can look through the seat pan. I remember this when I cut the seat for an aftermarket backrest.

Just the seat! But wow, does it ever heat up fast & hot! I love it!
