does anyone know if the new heated seat (from the new models) will fit an '04 1800 ? Or are there any heater pads that can be purchased and fitted to my stock seat, I really don't want to go down the route of buying a heated Corbin, as I like the stock seat styling.

Just a guess here but I think the seat will fit fine. However the lack any kind of seat wiring harness, relay, or infinite controls to provide a power supply would make it a no go deal. Terry

Seat Heat

I installed this unit myself on my 2001 ABS
http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/cafidutewamo.html
Just unstaple the seat cover and peel it back to expose the foam
Several loops that hold the inner section of the seat cover tight to the pad,
just remove the little plastic retainers that hold the loops to the seat frame
Punch holes in the heat pad between grid sections to allow the loops to return to their original holes and restaple the cover to the seat pan.
This unit has two level controller with led indicator switch...nice package
Route the wires, mount the switch, hook to the fuse block accessory terminals and enjoy...Two years in service no problems
HE :D
