Just bought an ‘08 that sat for too long with an empty tank. The filler neck is rusted badly and the metal parts of the fuel gauge sender has locked up the float and the pump wont run. I’d take just a clean tank or one complete with fuel pump and assembly... must be reasonable and extra points if someone can find me one in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri Kansas or Nebraska (so I could pick it up on my way back home! Driving through all those central states on Thursday the 8th... ). Shipping would be a killer on these...

Anybody who you know who’s parted a 1800 and might have one on a shelf?

Thanks!!!

Steve, check with Copart. They have several locations, one just east of Conway.

That's who picked up our last couple of casualties.:censored:

I dont think this is supposed to look like this? Got it clean and usable tonight, going together with a new pump tomorrow... guess I no longer need a tank

I dint do it! I bought the bike because it wouldn’t run anymore because the pump wouldn’t pump the crud any longer... had to purge the tank and put in a new pump. Runs GREAT! 20k mile bike for $4k...(with the new pump!)
