I am in the process of purchasing a cb radio for the Wing. When reviewing the micro fiche, it states that SKU 08E95-MCA-100A supercedes SKU: 08E95-MCA-100, 08E95-MCA-101 and 08E95-MCA-102. Is this correct? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

For reference, I have checked the CB radio SKU on the following sites:
1. DLP - 08E95-MCA-102
2. Local Dealer - 08E95-MCA-100A (Micro Fiche)
3. NC Dealer - 08E95-MCA-102
4. TN Dealer - 08E95-MCA-102
5. MS Dealer - 08E95-MCA-102

You are correct. In order from newest to oldest:

08E95-MCA-100A
08E95-MCA-102
08E95-MCA-101
08E95-MCA-100

The -101 corrected some of the problems with the -100 and the -102 corrected some of the problems with the -101. The -100A came about when Honda finally gave up on the old supplier and went to a new supplier.

The assumption is that a lot of the recurring prolems with the older series will go away with the -100A and the new supplier. So far, I haven't heard if the -100A is better and/or more reliable than the older models.
