Hello all. 2008 Level 3.
I purchased a replacement fog light switch assembly from EC about 2 years ago. the light and connections are fine and still work. However the actually button ( cap)? that we press does not stay engaged and keeps popping back to off. I disassembled, cleaned, and checked and it seems ok except it does not stay engaged when pressed to have on. Again the wiring and lights do work. My question is does anyone have any experience just replacing the actual button itself? if so, where on earth can I find? it seems it just comes with the assembly and not a stand alone. I would hate to keep buying replacements if its just the button. however I am not a guru and maybe I am just thinking weird. I know others have replaced the entire assembly with other types of switches. I am trying to avoid that. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated...

Electrical Connections sells the switch itself. Is this what you are asking about or did I misunderstand your question?

I dont believe that just the button is available. I'm pretty sure you have to buy the whole replacement switch. However, there is a way to replace the actual fog light switch with an aftermarket type switch. Take a look at the bottom of this page:
