A friend works for a large multinational company and will be traveling all around the US and Western Europe. He’s looking at these GPS’s and would like some input, mainly, are map sets available for Western Europe? Also, are adapters available for the differing currents in Europe. Any other issues using GPS in Europe?

If you know of more capable, or other equally capable units, let me know. Thanks.

If he's a business person and not going to use it on a motorcycle, the Garmin IQue 3600 or simular model may be the ticket...It's a GPS, Portable, and a palm or pocket pc depending on the model...

I had the IQue 3600 and it was a nice unit, but not waterproof...if he will use it indoors and inside a vehicle, these units would be nice.
